How Do I Receive A Free Estimate On My Watch Repair?

How Long Does It Take To Receive An Estimate?

The day we receive your watch, we notify you that it has arrived safely. Next, it is processed, photographed, and categorized for the proper diagnosis. Estimates can take as few as two days from the time it arrives. However, there are times we may need to reach out to the manufacturer to find availability and pricing of necessary parts. This can add some time to the estimation process. The moment we have all the answers, we reach out to you again with details about your watch repair for approval. No work is done without your approval.

How Long Does It Take To Repair My Watch?

This varies based on the type of watch, as well as the type of repair. A simple battery replacement, or common capacitor, can be turned around quickly, while a vintage restoration of a century old pocket watch can take several months. We do our best to give an indication of the length of time required to repair your watch when we call you with details about your estimate. Parts on order can add another layer of uncertainty to the timeline.

My Watch Was Just Looked At By Someone And They Said ‘they can’t get parts’ Or ‘it can’t be repaired’. Do You Think You Can Fix It?

The answer is YES! We perform ‘Masking’ work for many jewelry stores nationwide.

Can I Have My Watch Repaired And Sent Back To Me By A Certain Day?

When possible, we do our best to accommodate any special time requirements. Realistic expectations are important, so we will let you know up front if we cannot meet your specific time requirements. An old saying in watch repair is “Good work takes time”.

Shipping And Security

Why Do I have To Send My Watch In For An Estimate?

We prefer our watchmakers review every repair so that we can be confident in providing you with an accurate estimate. We may give general overviews, when asked, without seeing the watch, however a complete estimate may only be done after reviewing your watch.

How Do You Prefer I Send My Watch?

Pack your watch with the watch repair form, in a box with good packaging, and drop it in the mail. We accept USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Do NOT send your watch with the original box.

Can I Send More Than One Watch In The Same Shipment?

Yes, simply fill out another Watch Repair Form and send the additional form with the additional watch.

I Live Outside The United States. Can I Still Send In My Watch?

Yes, we have many international customers. An additional shipping charge will be processed for return shipping. Return shipping will be close to exact cost for shipping plus customs. We primarily communicate internationally through email.

I Don’t Have A Printer To Print The Watch Repair Form. Can You Mail Me A Copy?

Yes, please Contact Us and let us know, we will be happy to assist you.
